What is SHERQ SUMMIT
The International SHERQ Summit is an annual conference that brings together professionals from all walks
of life, policy makers, industry captains, citizens who have concerns and interest on sustainability. Globally
we have challenges with climate change, pollution, occupational health and safety challenges in workplaces,
environmental degradation, huge energy consumption patterns, waste production, threats to biodiversity,
social exclusion, rights to public health and mental and wellbeing, resource depletion in terms of fuel, water
and energy, disasters, and food safety issues. We therefore need updated standards, legislation / strategies
practices that will help us mitigate and adapt, so that we can attain the future we want for us and the future
generations. Sustainable development strategies are therefore critical in this era.
